The Village of Evendale has been reviewing and assessing a proposed development by Erickson Reitrement Communities for the Landmark Baptist Temple property located at 1600 Glendale-Milford Road.  This page of information has been created to provide the most up to date information and provide a means for residents and businesses to review all information available.

Erickson Retirement Communities has not submitted a zoning application or any other formal document requesting review by the Village of Evendale.  As you can see from the attached drawings, the development is both in the Village of Evendale and the Village of Glendale.  As of this date, Erickson has not submitted formal documents for review to the Village of Glendale either.

The Village of Evendale Council and Mayor are desiring to gain as much input as possible before making a decision.  Should Village Council and the Mayor indicate general conscesus on the project, Erickson will formally apply for a zone change to the property in Evendale.  This is not withstanding the Village of Glendale's review process, however, this updated information is only in regard to the Village of Evendale's process.  It is clear that the Village of Evendale and the Village of Glendale will need to cooperate to make this potential project a success.

Attached to this page you will find:

Fact-Finding Report prepared by Village staff which includes the Economic Impact Study prepared for Evendale by the Economics Center for Education and Research at the University of Cincinnati in December 2007.
