Happy New Year! I hope your holiday season was enjoyable and you made it through without too many extra pounds. If you do need to visit the Fitness Center you need to make sure you renew your membership. Stop by the Recreation front desk or give them a call at 563-2247. The Recreation Fitness Center offers a wide variety of classes and class times as well as state of the art equipment and convenient hours to utilize the equipment.
Inside this month’s newsletter is a survey for the Evendale Cultural Arts Center. Please take a few moments to read it and I ask you to complete it and return it. This is an important tool for the Cultural Arts Commission to know what programs fit our residents best so they can plan on upcoming classes, lessons, and performances.
During 2012 you will see our traffic signal project happening. The Village has received a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation to replace and upgrade all of our traffic signals. The upgrades will replace the physical lights, mounting poles and wires, as well as the computer hardware and software to control the timing of the traffic lights. Once complete, the Village will have a system connecting all traffic signals and video detecting equipment to move traffic through the Village of Evendale as efficient as possible. I will ask for your patience ahead of time because this will surely create some delays during construction.
