Young Rembrandts Drawing Classes
PRE-SCHOOL DRAWING CLASS

Young students are so eager to learn, and a joy to teach. Young Rembrandts instructors provide a nurturing and strong learning environment that expands Pre-schoolers’ image vocabulary as they draw familiar images such as fish, teddy bears, rainbows and cowboys. We’ll concentrate on the skills of drawing and coloring while we develop fine motor skills, focus, listening, staying on task, patience and spatial organization. Classes are 45 minutes, with a minimum of 6, and maximum of 10 students allowed.
ELEMENTARY DRAWING CLASS
6 – 12 years old.

Our elementary-age curriculum is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques and vocabulary. We believe that drawing is the bedrock skill required for future artistic success. We give them skills to express their creativity, and believe that all children can – and should – learn to draw. We provide all materials and teach new lessons each week in a positive and nurturing environment, which brings out the best in each child. You’ll see increased art abilities, learning skills, self-confidence and self-esteem. Classes are 60 minutes, with a minimum of 6 and maximum of~20 students allowed.

Evendale Recreation Center invites all 1st -5th graders to join friends every Thursday for an hour full of FUN! Each week we will be completing a different activity. Whether it is a group game, project or a special themed day it is sure to be a fun way to unwind from a long school day!

Come and explore the wonderful world of literature with books, poetry, songs and puppetry. Each week we will read about a new adventure and then do a craft, cook a treat or sing and dance. We can’t wait to start turning the pages of fun!

Are you READY to play? Are you SET to start moving? Then let’s GO! Our gross motor program introduces toddlers and their caregivers to the world of movement. Weather permitting, we will go outside more in the spring and explore movement through games and soft outdoor equipment.

WIGGLE, GIGGLE & SHAKE

Large motor skills and coordination will be developed with the use of indoor play equipment, parachute, scooters and balls. Music, stories and crafts will be included in our hour of wiggling, giggling and shaking. Gym shoes required.

The name says it all! Join us for some crafty fun as we work with scissors, glue and our imaginations. Seasonal activities will highlight our work with exciting take-home projects!

Come learn about some of your favorite animals! Through singing songs, playing games and completing craft activities, this class will surely be lots of fun!

Warmer temperatures bring spring blooms and the return of our animal friends. Through crafts and various activities, we will explore the world around us. Dress for the weather as we will be going outside whenever possible.
