ONCE UPON A TIME (Kit ‘n Kaboodle)
Mondays 9:30 – 10:30 am (Min 6, Max 12)
18 months – 36 months, accompanied by a caregiver
Come and explore the wonderful world of literature with books, poetry, songs and puppetry. Each week we will read about a new adventure and then do a craft, cook a treat or sing and dance. We can’t wait to start turning the pages of fun!
ARTHUR’S ADVENTURES
Tuesdays 9:30 – 10:30 am (Min 6, Max 12)
3 – 4 year olds. Must be potty trained.
Join us as we read about Arthur, D.W., Francine and friends. We’ll do related crafts, play games, make snacks and have fun with Arthur the Anteater!
READY – SET – GO
Wednesdays, 9:30 – 10:30 am (Min 6, Max 12)
18 months – 36 months, accompanied by a caregiver
Are you READY to play? Are you SET to start moving? Then let’s GO! Our gross motor program introduces toddlers and their caregivers to the world of movement.
PUPPET PLAY
Thursdays 1:15 – 2:15 pm (Min 6, Max 12)
5 – 6 year olds
Hand, sock and stick puppets are some of the many kinds of puppets we’ll explore and create. The final class will have us presenting our very own puppet show.
WIGGLE, GIGGLE & SHAKE
Fridays 10:45 – 11:45 am (Min 6, Max 12)
3 – 4 year olds. Must be potty trained.
Large motor skills and coordination will be developed with the use of indoor play equipment, parachute, scooters and balls. Music, stories and crafts will be included in our hour of wiggling, giggling and shaking. Gym shoes required.
SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL
Fridays 1:15 – 2:15 pm (Min 6, Max 12)
5 – 6 years old.
Unwind on Friday afternoons with all of your Evendale friends. Join us for group games and activities that get us moving! Gym shoes required.

The Evendale Recreation Department is looking to hire a Recreation Specialist to teach pre-school and after school programs, and assist with special events. We are currently recruiting an experienced, enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate and creative classes for young children. Experience desired; applicant must be 18 years of age or older and be a high school graduate. Flexible work schedule required including days, some evenings, weekends and holidays. Applications accepted until position is filled; available at the Evendale Recreation Department, 10500 Reading Road. EOE. $9.88/hr.
