Where are notices of public meetings and hearings posted?
Notices for regularly scheduled or special public meetings and hearings are posted on the website under meetings and on the bulletin board outside of the Administration Offices and the bulletin board inside the entrance way of the Recreation Center.
How do I request to view or receive copies of Public Records?
Public Records Requests
The Village of Evendale complies with Ohio law (O.R.C. 149.43) regarding access to public records. Individuals wishing to view public records may generally do so at Evendale’s Municipal Building during normal working hours of the administrative personnel in whose custody the records are kept. Because we are a small community with a relatively small staff, it may not always be possible to review records instantaneously. Sometimes, it is necessary to assemble the public records an individual wishes to view and it may take some time, depending on the volume and complexity of the request.
Those individuals wishing to obtain copies of public records may do so by contacting the Village Clerk by email a barb.rohs@evendaleohio.org, by telephone at 563-2244 or by written request. The Village will provide copies within a reasonable time after the request is received. Copies are provided at a cost of five cents per page.
In order to service you better by providing access to, or copies of public records, we ask that you provide the following contact information:
NAME
DATE OF REQUEST
ADDRESS
PHONE
SUBJECT OF REQUEST (be specific)
Where do I find the minutes to a Public Hearing before council on the website?
Public Hearing minutes are incorporated into the Council Meeting minutes since they are held before the regular council meetings.
Where can I find what topics are on the agenda for upcoming council meetings?
All council agendas are posted on the website and on the bulletin boards outside of the Administrative Offices and in the Recreation Center entryway. If you would like to receive a copy of the agenda by mail, a written request for agendas must be submitted to the Village Clerk and the request is valid for twelve months. (Codified Ordinance Chapter 206.06). Requests must include your name and address.
You may receive an agenda automatically via email by going to the Village of Evendale website and going to Subscribe to News. Here you can sign up to receive an agenda automatically as soon as it is posted to the website.
Where can I see details of the Ordinance and Resolutions that are on the agenda for upcoming council meetings?
If you would like to see details of the Ordinances and Resolutions that are on the agenda for upcoming council meetings, you can email the Village Clerk at barb.rohs@evendalohio.org. If the files are in electronic form they can be emailed to you. If they are not in an electronic file, a copy of the items you wish to review can be made for you to pick up during regular business hours at the Administration Building.
