I. Police-
Arrest and citations up 38% in 2008
1) Selection Process Timetable of Events- Chief Foust provided recruitment schedule for hiring of police candidates
2) Update Status- Sgt. Asbrock/Lt. Phillips- Sgt. Asbrock has returned and Lt. Phillips is doing well.
3) Training/Firearms Transition to level 2 security completed
2 step holster
4) Cruiser Status reference new cars in fleet and timetable for bid for old cars- one new car is in service and second should be my July 1
5) Follow-Up reference traffic complaint Speeding/Stop Signs- Sharondale-
· New signs added on stop signs with posting of fines for roll throughs
· Studying speed and traffic data
· Continued conversation with concerned citizen
6) Special Events Planning/ July 04, 2008 & St. Rita's Festival
7) Cost of gas is expected to exceed amount budgeted
