We have received reports from two Hamilton County communities that, much like late last year, have experienced several "BB gun" burglaries.
If you recall, these suspects break into homes around dark, usually from the rear of the house, using BBs to break windows. They take at-hand electronics, jewelry, and money.
Several of last year's victims had only been gone from the residence for a short time and were perhaps seen by someone, so please don't hesitate to report any suspicious or unusual persons or vehicles on your street or around your house.
Keeping lights and a radio or TV on to give the appearance that someone is home can be an effective deterrent.
We are taking pro-active steps to discover the identity of the suspects, but your watchfulness is greatly appreciated.
