Dear Evendale Resident and Business:
The Village of Evendale has recently contracted with PENN Alert (Personal Emergency Notification Network) to provide emergency notification to residents and businesses in Evendale. In order for this system to be effective we need to have the correct notification information for you and/or your business. It is our intention to put the system online in the early Spring of 2006.
The PENN Alert system delivers notification via regular phone line, mobile phone and email. The Village will activate alerts for emergency incidents including, but not limited to; hazardous materials issues, evacuation notices, missing person alerts, unusual crime trends, Mill Creek flooding, tornado warnings and the like. In order for our notifications to be effective we need your help in establishing a current and accurate data base of information. This data base is held by PENN Alert and is secure information guaranteed by PENN Alert.
Please take the time to fill out the necessary information by April 17, 2006 either via the Village website (download forms or electronically) or by completing and returning the form enclosed to:

Your participation in this notification system is voluntary. If you choose not to receive notifications please complete the enclosed form and check the box indicating “I do not wish to be included in the PENN Alert system” and we will not put you on the list. If you have any questions please call the Village office at 563-2244 and ask to speak to someone about the PENN Alert system.
