Violation of Any of These “Safety Rules” Will Result in Immediate Termination of Pump Test and Access to Pump Test Facility in Future Will Be Denied.
1. When manhole covers are removed, yellow manhole guards must be in place.
2. Both doors on return chamber must be removed by taking out the hinge pins.
3. Once doors to return chamber are removed, at no time can pump test area be left unattended.
4. All monitor nozzles must be securely anchored by chains provided by Evendale.
5. All water must be returned to test chamber. At no time should water be directed anywhere other than test chamber.
6. Only fire department personnel are permitted in test area.
7. Testing department must report any damage or defect to equipment or pump test facility to Evendale personnel as soon as it is discovered.
8. When pump tests are completed pump area must be returned to pre-test condition.
9. OIC from Evendale will check area after tests are completed to insure that no damage has occurred and that all equipment is returned to it’s proper place.
