2009 Police Department Accreditation -Public Information Session
The Evendale Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part
of our on-going efforts to comply to and retain our accreditation status. The purpose of this
on-site assessment is to verify that our department meets the Commission's professional standards.
Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA),
the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four
basic areas; policy and procedure, administration, operations, and support services.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to
offer comments at a public information session on 3/30/09 at 7:00 p.m. The session will be conducted
in the Village Council Chambers located at 10500 Reading Rd, Evendale, OH 45241.
Agency employees and the public are also invited to offer comments by calling (513)383-5493 on 3/30/09
between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Comments will be taken by a member of the Assessment Team.
Telephone comments, as well as appearances at the public information session, are limited to 10 minutes
and are for the purpose of addressing the agency's ability to comply with CALEA standards.
A copy of the standards can be obtained at the Evendale Police Department by contacting Sgt. Jeff McDaniel
at (513)563-2249.
Anyone wishing to submit written comments about the Evendale Police Department's ability to comply
