The Evendale Police Department, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice, is participating in Project ChildSafe. This program offers firearm cable safety locks. These locks are designed to prevent the accidental discharge of a firearm. The locks are intended for use on rifles, pistols and shotguns.
Interested Evendale Residents may receive two locks per family. Please telephone the Police Department at 563-2249 prior to picking up a lock. The Evendale Police urge all Evendale residents that own firearms to take advantage of this program.
