 Officer Kevin Akers has been with the Evendale Police Department since 2000. Prior to coming to Evendale, Kevin worked as a Campus Police Officer for Xavier University for almost 3 years. Prior to that, he worked as a part-time/auxiliary police officer
for 1 ½ years at Terrace Park Police Department.
Officer Akers has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Clark State Community College and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree from Xavier University. Currently, Kevin is a road patrol officer and one of Evendale’s Bike Patrol Officers.
Kevin has been married to Kelly for almost 5 years. They have a daughter, Katelyn and a son, Kyler. Officer Akers enjoys spending time with his family. Outside interests include playing basketball and a love for automobiles.
