Karen James-Hall has been with the Evendale Police Department since 1979. She started her career as the 1st Police Clerk ever hired in the Village of Evendale. Once she was established, the role of Mayor’s Court Clerk was passed on to her as
well.
As Mayor’s Court Clerk, Karen decided to get together once a month with all other clerks in Hamilton County to exchange information and offer training. Today, we have the Southwest Chapter of Mayor’s Court Clerk’s in Ohio as a result of her efforts.
Karen is also our TAC (Technical Agency Coordinator). She completed several courses at Scarlet Oaks in Sharonville, Ohio from 1979 through 2004. The TAC is in charge of all warrants, stolen property, missing persons, or any entries made for the Police Department and an audit of all entries every 2 years.
Karen and her husband, Tony, have 2 sons, 1 daughter, 2 granddaughters, and a grandson. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting, crafts, volunteering, and helping with a newly established family business.
