 Detective Jason Shope is a graduate of Xenia High School. He received an Associate’s Degree from Clark State Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Jason’s law enforcement career began with the Waynesville Police Department. He joined the
Evendale Police Department in 1994.
Sfter serving as the detective for 5 years, Jason returned to the road on third shift. He is a Certified Master Investigator and Certified Master Evidence Technician and, he also serves as a Firearms Instructor and Taser Instructor.
Detective Shope’s outside interests include motorcycling, the family farm and running a small excavating business with his father.
