Officer Ward is a graduate of Springboro High School and holds an Associates Degree from Sinclair Community College. Officer Ward served 4 years in the United States Army with the 10th Mountain Division. Prior to coming to Evendale, he worked as a corrections officer for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections.
Officer Ward has been married for 12 years and has two sons. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family.
In October of 2008, Officer Ward took took 1st place, Class C, in the Butler County Sheriff's Office Sheriff Shoot.
