 Officer Rick Babcock has been with the Evendale Police Department since 1985. He was born and raised in Lockland and graduated from Lockland High School in 1971. Rick was drafted into the United States Army and served as a military police officer in Germany from 1972-1974. He began
his law enforcement career with the Reading Police Department in 1979 and became a police officer for the Village of Evendale in 1985. He has specialized training in firearms instruction, crime prevention, and auto accident reconstruction.
Rick holds an Associate Degree from the University of Cincinnati and is currently working toward his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
He has two children, Stephanie and Kyle. Rick’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and golf.
