 Sgt. Niel Korte has been with the Evendale Police Department since 1992. He was appointed to the rank of Sergeant in 1995. Prior to his appointment with Evendale, Sgt. Korte was a police officer for the City of Indianapolis. He held that position for over four years.
Sgt. Korte graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He is a year 2000 graduate of the Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command where he was class co-valedictorian. He is also a graduate of PELC, the Police Executive Leadership College.
Sgt. Korte has been married to his wife, Terri, since 1991. They have three children; Justin, Zach and Margaret Mary.
