1. What is the tax rate for the Village of Evendale?
Effective January 1, 2005, the tax rate is 1.2%. The tax rate for tax years 2000-2004 was .9%.
2. How do I know if I am required to file a return?
All Village of Evendale residents are subject to the tax and are required to register with the Tax Department and file an annual Evendale Income Tax Return. All non-residents with income taxable to the Village of Evendale that was not fully withheld by an employer are required to file an Evendale Income Tax Return.
All business entities located in the Village of Evendale or business entities doing business within the Village of Evendale must register with the Tax Department and file an annual Evendale Business Income Tax Return.
3. When is my return due?
The due date of the return for calendar year taxpayers is APRIL 15th. If the return is made for a fiscal year or any period less than a year, the return is due on or before the 15th day of the fourth month following the end of such fiscal year or other period.
4. What if I need more time to file my return?
An extension of time in which to file your Evendale Income Tax Return may be granted until the last day of the month following the month to which the due date of the Federal Income Tax Return has been extended. A written request for an extension of time to file must be filed with the Evendale Income Tax Department by the original due date of the return. A copy of the Federal Extension, filed with the Evendale Income Tax Department by the original due date of the return, is acceptable.
