After graduating from Sycamore High School, Sgt. Bill Lantry earned his Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from the University of Cincinnati. He attended Scarlet Oaks Police Academy and began
his law enforcement career with the Hamilton County Park District in 1986. After seven years with the Park District, Sgt. Lantry joined the Evendale Police Department in 1993.
During his tenure with EPD, Bill has been a detective, our Crime Prevention Officer, and serves in his current role as a shift Sergeant. He is also trained as an auto accident reconstructionist, bike patrol officer, and is a member of the Evendale Police Department’s color guard team.
Officer Lantry and his wife, Janette, have three sons – Sam, 9; Sean 6; and PJ who is 4 years old. Hs outside interests include coaching baseball, motorcycling, and watching/attending Cincinnati Reds games.
