Patrol
The Village of Evendale has a full-service, internationally accredited municipal police agency which employs 19 full-time police officers. The operating budget of the police department is $2.3 million.
Two lieutenants, three sergeants, and eleven police officers are assigned to our Patrol Division. The police department provides 24-hour coverage, serving a population of approximately 3,300 residents and 5.2 square miles.

Investigative
The Village of Evendale has one full-time investigator and an investigative sergeant. These officers support and provide technical assistance to the patrol bureau. Their responsibilities include; conducting interviews and interrogations, surveillance, collection and preservation of physical evidence, information development, planning, organizing, and conducting search warrants, and conducting undercover operations.

Administration
Police Department administration consists of the Police Chief, Mayor’s Court Administrator, and two Administrative Assistants. This bureau provides support functions for the entire police department. Other responsibilities include budgeting, record-keeping, accreditation support, as well as other clerical and administrative duties.
