COVID-19 Update #4 of 4

From: Mayor Richard Finan

The Village of Evendale continues to monitor the spread of the CoronaVirus and is taking necessary precautions in accordance with local/state/federal mandates and recommendations.  For more information about the CoronaVirus/COVID-19, please visit: www.coronavirus.ohio.gov

Earlier today, Ohio extended the Department of Health’s Stay at Home Order. Originally set to expire on April 6th, the Order will now remain in full force and effect until 11:59pm on May 1, 2020, unless the Health Director rescinds or modifies the Order at a sooner time and date.

In response to the extended Order, and in recognition of the continually escalating number of confirmed virus cases, Evendale is taking the following measures:

 1.           All mandated or recommended actions and measures already implemented as detailed in the March 13th, March 19th, and March 23rd    Memos remain in effect. Please visit www.evendaleohio.org to view those Memos. Additionally,

a. All April 2020 public meetings are cancelled. This includes the April 7th Council Subcommittee  Meeting; the April 14th Regular Council Meeting; the April 21st Full Community Improvement Corp. Meeting and the April 21st Planning Commission Meeting. Agenda items for these meetings will be placed on May 2020 meeting agendas.

b. Effective immediately, the Administration Office will close at 1pm instead of 4pm, Monday thru Friday.

On behalf of all Village officials, I personally thank you for your continued patience, understanding and cooperation as we work through this challenging time together with respect and cooperation. We greatly value our residents, businesses, patrons, officials, staff, and others whose contributions make our Village a cherished place to live, work and play. I offer my sincere sympathies to all who are experiencing tragedy, job loss or other setbacks due to the pandemic; my gratitude to all who are combating it; and my appreciation to all who have had to make personal and/or professional adjustments or sacrifices to mitigate it.

Please feel free to contact me or any Department Head with questions, concerns, etc. at the numbers listed on our website contact page:   https://www.evendaleohio.org/departments
