New Natural Gas Aggregation Supply rate approved by Council

May 5, 2019 - The Village of Evendale’s Natural Gas Aggregation Program’s current flex-down rate of $0.444/ccf is due to expire soon. Evendale officials have been working with our consultant, Energy Alliances, Inc., to establish a new 3-year fixed price of $0.396/ccf which will commence June 2019 through May 2022.

Constellation NewEnergy will continue to be the gas supplier. After much research, Energy Alliance suggested taking advantage of an unusual turn in market conditions that allows us to offer a 3-year fixed rate. The reasoning for this change in strategy is that current market conditions suggest that a long-term fixed price offers the most competitive pricing option available.

By now, eligible residents should have received an opt-out notice in the mail from Constellation. Eligible residents are automatically enrolled in the program but may choose to “opt-out” at any time with no penalty.  Residents who are currently not in the program are welcome to enroll at any time for no fee. 

As a reminder, residents will never be approached by a door-to-door sales representative or telemarketer to participate in our aggregation program.  All correspondence pertaining to our program will include the Evendale logo. Residents who are not currently signed up, or are with another supplier may still enroll by calling a member of Constellation’s dedicated customer care team at 877-590-4138.
