Evendale Recreation Center, Community Room Ken Williamson’s Saying Goodbye to Vietnam exhibit is an engrossing journey through recent history based on his personal experiences in that war-torn land. As a US Army photographer, his eye for poetic beauty infuses the powerful and sometimes haunting images he created there.
Friday, May 25 6-9 pm Opening Night Reception 7:15 pm "Saying Goodbye to Vietnam" Presentation Beyond the photographs, Ken’s eloquent description of that time and place depicted in his book, “Saying Goodbye to Vietnam” relies on excerpts from hundreds of personal letters to and from his wife back home. Listen to Ken as he shares his photography and memories of Vietnam, a changing country that will always have a connection to ours.
