COVID-19 Update #2

The Village of Evendale continues to monitor the spread of the CoronaVirus/Covid-19 and continues to take necessary precautions. For more information about the CoronaVirus/Covid-19, please visit: www.coronavirus.ohio.gov In accordance with the most recent Federal, State and CDC, mandates and recommendations, the following is an update of how Village services may be accessed:


Emergency Police and Fire Services:  The Evendale Police and Fire Departments will continue to provide emergency services on a 24/7 basis. Please dial 911 in the event of an emergency.    

Fire: Effective immediately, public access to Evendale Fire Department facilities is restricted to fire department staff and individuals with medical emergencies only. For non-emergency services please contact the Department via phone at 513-563-2248 or by email
mhauck@evendaleohio.org .   

Police: The Police Department lobby will remain open but public access to internal offices will be limited. For non-emergency services, please contact the Department via phone at 513-563-2249 or by email at police@evendaleohio.org     
Administrative Services including Planning, Zoning, Building and Code Enforcement: The Administration Building will remain open during normal business hours, M-F 8am to 4pm but with limited access as follows: The building lobby is open and available to those who need to drop off or obtain information at the Administration window. Public access to internal offices is limited to appointments only as may be necessary to conduct essential services.  For more information about administrative services, please call 513-563-2244.    

Recreation and Cultural Arts (ECAC) Departments: The Evendale Recreation and Cultural Arts Departments are now closed indefinitely.  All programs, events, lessons, workshops, performances and rentals are cancelled or postponed.  Refunds or credits will be issued for cancelled rentals and class enrollment payments. The spring soccer and baseball seasons are delayed at this time. ECAC Spring classes are cancelled.   
These Departments will not be advertising upcoming programs, classes or events until further notice, nor will they be taking sign-ups or future reservations.  Several ECAC instructors are offering virtual music, dance and art lessons.  Please contact your instructor directly should you have an interest in these private virtual services.  
The Recreation Department will proceed with seasonal hiring, with interviews being conducted over the phone.  Pending a re-opening date, seasonal employment is not guaranteed.
The Recreation Department can be reached at 513-563-2247. The ECAC can be reached at 513-563-1350. Access to Recreation and ECAC phone calls and voicemail may be limited. Calls will be returned as promptly as possible.
Service Department: The Service Department will remain open but public access to internal offices will be limited.  The Service Department will proceed with seasonal hiring. For service assistance, please call 513-563-4338  

Tax Department:  The Village of Evendale Income Tax Department has suspended all in-person taxpayer assistance.  The office is open and the Tax Administrator will be available to assist you by telephone and by email.  Please contact Cindy Vaske, Tax Administrator at (513) 563-2671 or by email at cindy.vaske@evendaleohio.org
The due date for filing your return is April 15th.  However, COVID-19 is likely to have a significant impact on the 2020 tax season. Evendale will comply with any extensions of payment due dates and waivers of late payment fees and interest as mandated by Federal and State Law.  Any such changes will be posted on the Evendale Income Tax Department webpage of the Village website https://www.evendaleohio.org/tax-department, and on social media.
