The Art and Obstinance of Chris Casey Opening Reception

at the Evendale Cultural Arts Center October 18, 2019

Join us for the Opening Reception of the Art & Obstinance of Chris Casey, curated by Jodi Kessler of Evendale. The exhibition features original artwork, prints, and mixed digital media works. His work spans multiple genres and techniques giving him a unique, un-definable style that is ever changing. When Chris is not creating art, taking photos, or engineering new formats for media viewing, he tends to 40 acres and his log cabin in the woods. Originally from Cincinnati, he now lives in northern Michigan where he fends for himself against forces of Nature; coyotes, badgers, and bears (oh my)!

Music by Richard Goering, Classical Guitarist

Special guest artist and local art teacher, Jessica Durham will also exhibit artwork selections in the entrance gallery.

The Art & Obstinancy of Chris Casey runs through October 19. Gallery hours are Friday, October 18 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, October 19 from 12 – 4 pm.

The center is located in the restored Civic Center and is owned and operated by the Village of Evendale. There are no elevators at the Cultural Arts Center due to its historic nature.
