Snow and Ice Control

During snow events, the policy of the Service Department is to concentrate on the main roads, especially hillsides and elevated surfaces. The neighborhood streets will be cleared and treated as soon as possible. Please remove all vehicles from public roadways in order for the crews to effectively clear the streets. Please understand the job of the snow crew is to clear the public roadways of snow/ice. The department is not responsible for clearing individual residential driveways/aprons, as this is the responsibility of the property owner. We make every effort to divert snow/ice away from driveways, but this is not entirely possible. The weekly chipper service will be suspended during snow operations to concentrate on public roadways. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to allow us to perform this service.
