A Mother Bat loves her baby, Stellaluna, with all her heart. But when an owl knocks Stellaluna out of her nest one night, she finds herself in Mama Bird’s nest with all her baby birds. Stellaluna adopts the ways of her newfound family, but when she has an opportunity to show them what life is like as a bat, they’re reluctant to do so. This popular children’s story lifts up the powers of friendship and understanding. Recommended for pre-k and up.
