I receive a threatening/obscene phone call?

Record the date, time, and nature of the call. For example: 01/01/99, 2:30 am, hang-up, 01/01/99, 3:00 am, heavy breathing, etc. Contact Evendale Police and file a report.

Contact the Cincinnati Bell Annoyance Call Bureau at 397-7366 and advise them of the problem and that a police report has been filed.

You must file a police report prior to initiating the tracing process. We will fax a copy of the police report to Cincinnati Bell if you request a trace.

Making threatening, obscene, or annoying calls is a criminal offense! Don’t be frightened or threatened by a crank caller! Take action to stop these calls by cooperating with Cincinnati Bell and your police department to apprehend and prosecute these callers.
