If I get a “Notification of Warrant” letter, what does that mean?

If you fail to either pay a citation by 4:00 p.m. on the assigned court date or appear in court that evening at 6:00 p.m., you will receive a “Notification of Warrant” letter. A warrant is issued that evening, however this letter is to remind you that you have failed to either pay or appear. You will be given the opportunity to pay the citation, be recited to appear and, on some occasions, you may have to post a cash bond.
